“Beware the female of the species... the sting is in the tail!”
Janet (Iris Brooks) and Bill (Michael Hanes) are newlyweds who’ve decided to take a sailboat cruise for their honeymoon. But within hours of departing, jealousy and accusations of adultery break down their relationship and destroy their marriage and Bill somehow disappears. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman on the ship named Layne (Jennifer Welles) has begun seducing anyone and everyone she can get her eyes on, including both members of the other couple on the cruise, Pete (Blaine Quincy) and Dorothy (Hollis Solomon). Does Layne have something to do with Bill’s disappearance, is there more to this innocent weekend getaway than meets the eye? Unavailable for decades, this early sexploitation thriller by acclaimed filmmaker Ron Sullivan (also known as Henri Pachard) also features a catchy original score by James Taylor.
